Liquitex Basic Acrylic Colors were developed for students and artists who require reliable quality at an affordable price. Each color is uniquely formulated to bring out the maximum shine and clarity of the individual pigment. These acrylics have a buttery consistency for easy mixing, a medium viscosity, and are made with lightfast fine art pigments. They dry to a satin finish, eliminating surface glare. The basics can be used for a variety of techniques, including watercolor, airbrush, and printmaking, as well as sketching and underpainting, color theory, and mixed media. When dry, these acrylics are permanent, waterproof and flexible. Combine basic acrylics with Liquitex basic acrylic mediums to achieve a wide variety of effects.
